Pre- Calculus
This course brings together and extends the concepts of Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2/Trigonometry including the study of functions (polynomial, rational, logarithmic, trigonometric and exponential), analytic geometry, vectors and an introduction to limits/derivatives. Successful completion of this course prepares students for Calculus. This is a recommended course for students planning on attending a four-year college.
Prerequisites: Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II or course equivalent

The main purpose of this class is to make sure that each students will learn the Montana State Standards. This class will provide whatever time or extra help needed to learn all the following standards:
- Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.
- Reason abstractly and quantitatively.
- Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
- Model with mathematics.
- Use appropriate tools strategically.
- Attend precision.
- Look for and make use of structure.
- Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.
